Xerdict creates new "Brief Bank" portal product.
Xerdict has again expanded the general capabilities of its' collaboration software suite, developing a product to assist law firm practice groups in the collection, sharing and management of best practice Brief Banks. This tool allows both full text searching as well as indexed searching, thus allowing attorneys to more easily store, track, access and reuse work product considered to be best-in-breed within their law firm.

Xerdict deploys innovative "File Room" portals.
Xerdict has expanded the general capabilities of its' litigation support and business development portals by creating an "Electronic File Room". These "file rooms" allow for the posting, coding and categorization of litigation and other documents for electronic storage and easy search and retreival. The many benefits of this technology include the fact that documents can be tracked and retrieved far more productively as well as the fact that a law firm can reduce the amount of physical space which is required in order to store large quantities of paper within the four walls of their office space.

Xerdict to hold educational webinar with ILTA on May 2, 2007.
The informational session discusses and shows how a hosted, Web-based collaboration system can be used to build a repository of information using technologies to support marketing efforts and demonstrate experience in virtually any area of law (IP, insurance, products liability, etc.). This application of collaboration technology is somewhat different than the "traditional" or "typical" use of collaboration technologies in the litigation support theater which provide services like calendaring, document management or case tracking/management.

Xerdict recently developed a new reporting capability within the CaseEnsemble Collaboration System for use in all collaboration systems.
The new reporting capability allows CaseEnsemble to produce any report generated by the system " Query Builder" in a configurable PDF format. To help properly format the reports, CaseEnsemble allows the system users and clients to define the report characteristics such as the report font, font size, and page size and orientation in the PDF file (prior to printing/saving/emailing the PDF file). This new feature, which adds to the existing CaseEnsemble functionality allowing clients to either view the report on the screen or export report contents to an Excel file, greatly improves CaseEnsemble clients's ability to save Case Management and other types of system reports in a useful and attractive format appropriate for printing or emailing to clients. This capability is particularily useful for those case management applications that require periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to be sent to clients.

Xerdict Group Assists in Construction of e-Discovery Portal.
The new Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP e-Discovery Portal, which was constructed using Sedgwick's internal Xerdict web-based collaboration technology, was recently deployed. The portal is a repository of essential forms, cases, statutes, regulations, rules and articles, providing Sedgwick attorneys and the firm's clients with direct access to practical and relevant information needed at the onset of litigation.

Xerdict Group Announces Creation of Law Firm Business Development Portal Product.
Xerdict's law firm collaboration toolset was recently expanded to provide law firms with the capability to create business development websites. This offering is designed to allow law firm practice groups to post articles of interest, an organized set of current rules and statutes related to the practice of law, allow clients to leverage a private bulletin board to submit questions and comments about this practice of law, post salient recent cases and commentary on these cases, and to post helpful sets of forms and documents related to a practice of law. This new and expanded set of capabilties are specifically designed with the needs of law firms in mind, and are available along with the existing suite of other Xerdict products (CaseEnsemble, SMCEnsemble and IT consulting services).
